  • Day 1 – Dublin City
  • Arrive at Dublin airport. Pick up your car and travel to the city center to check into your hotel. Spend your day exploring the historic city of Dublin including St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublinia, the Guinness Storehouse, Jameson Irish Whisky Distillery, Trinity College, and much more.
    Overnight: Dublin area
  • Day 2 – Galway City & Cong, Co. Mayo
  • Leave Dublin and travel across the rich midland pastures. Visit Belvedere House, the magnificent early 18th century home of Robert Rochfort, Earl of Belvedere, set on the shores of Lough Ennell. Stop at Clonmacnoise a 6th-century Christian site before crossing the River Shannon, Ireland's longest river. Arrive into Galway, whose long-standing trade with Spain has left its mark on the city's architecture. Visit the Spanish Arch and the Spanish Parade. Continue on from Galway to nearby Cong.

  • Day 3 – Connemara Tour
  • Today, travel through the wild and rugged Connemara region, famous for the savage beauty of its lake and mountain scenery. Visit Connemara National Park, where Connemara ponies and Irish red deer roam freely through 5,000 acres of scenic mountains, bogs and grassland. Stop at the spectacular lakeside Kylemore Abbey, which is run by Irish Benedictine nuns.
    Overnight: Ashford Castle, Cong area
  • Day 4 – County Clare
  • Travel South through Galway city into County Clare, known as the “Land of Castles.” Visit Rathbaun Farm or enjoy a traditional tea and scones break. Travel on through the strange lunar landscape of the Burren region and view the Cliffs of Moher a spectacular 5-mile long cliff which rises almost 200m above sea level. Visit the 15th-century Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, where replicas of traditional thatched cottages are arranged in a village setting.

  • Day 5 – Kerry
  • Today travel south through the rich midland pastures and pass through the medieval city of Limerick. Stop in the quaint village of Adare, and learn about the area’s unique history at the Heritage Centre. Continue on to Kenmare, voted Ireland’s tidiest town.
    Overnight: Derry area (Dinner & full bed & breakfast)
  • Day 6 – Kenmare or West Cork
  • Visit Kenmare with its many craft and antique shops. Alternatively tour the West Cork region travelling over the spectacular Healy Pass before arriving in Glengariff where you can take a short boat trip to Garnish Island to see the unique subtropical gardens.
    Overnight: Kenmare area
  • Day 7 – The Midlands
  • Leave Kenmare and drive through the rich rolling pastures of Ireland’s Golden Vale region. Stop in Cork, Ireland’s second largest city or perhaps visit the world famous Blarney Castle. Continue on to the medieval city of Kilkenny and stroll through the streets and alleyways or visit Kilkenny Castle.
    Overnight: Kilkenny area
  • Day 8 –Dublin Departure
  • Travel to Dublin Airport for your flight home
