Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon
Visit the most important attraction in all Myanmar which dates back to the time of the Buddha, 2,500 years ago. This place of worship it constantly has been extended, changed, renovated, rebuilt after fires and earthquakes, decorated according to the styles of the respective times.
Shwethalyaung in Bago
Here you will find the famous lying Buddha statue which measures 180 feet long and 52 feet high and dates back to 994. The statue was lost from 1757 until 1881 when Bago was destroyed. The British colonial masters found it, while they were building the railway track from Yangon to Bago.
Pindaya Caves near Taunggyi
The Caves, inside a limestone mountain, have religious relevance for the local residence and pilgrims who worship here. You will discover 6226 Buddha statues and the count continues to grow as the faithful continuously bring in more.
Shwe Nandaw Kyaung Temple Grounds
The most prominent structure is a building which King Mindon died in 1880. It was then converted into a monastery and stayed that way until today. It is built mostly of teak wood and is richly ornamented with carvings and hints at the grandeur of the ancient royal palace.
Shwezigon Pagoda in Bagan
This 11th century pagoda, was the first building designed in the unique Burmese style. According to lore, several relics of the Buddha are preserved inside: a tooth and a number of bones. Although there have been additions over the years the ancient basic structures were minimally changed.

Botanical Gardens in Pyin Oo Lwin
Located 3,280 feet above enjoy beautiful scenery, cool climate and a nostalgic atmosphere.
Built during WWI, the area was originally designed to hold POW's but since has converted to a beautiful garden which endangered species of flora are collected and preserved.
Mawlamyine
Explore the former capital of British Burma and feel the colonial atmosphere throughout. It was once an important teak-port. You will see several fine monasteries and shrines which meander the hills of Mawlamyine, from there you will enjoy magnificent views of the city and the harbor.
