Wu Lai's Aboriginal Culture Village
See Wu Lai's main attraction, the waterfall, as it plunges from the mountains into the Nanhsi river, 260 feet below. Dine at an authentic Atayal restaurant then watch aborigine cultural dancing next door. Visit the folk art museum with displays colorful Atayal costumes, pottery and carvings.

Chungcheng Park in Keelung
A combination of a Buddhist holy site and amusement park makes this park unique. Visit the white 73 foot statue of the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy. Climb inside to the top to view the harbor and city below. Visit several three-story pagodas, a museum, and a martyrs' shrine.

Yehliu Rock Formations
Better known for its unique rock formations , the landscape is a result of persistent waves clashing against the coast. You will see the fungoid stones in the shape of mushrooms, the stone which resembles an Egyptian queen or perfectly barrel shaped spheres.

Tsushih Temple
The temple is one of the most magnificent temples in Taiwan. Built in 1770, the temple has been fully renovated. Temple decorations include intricately carved stone and bronze columns, bronze statues, carved stone lions and bronze bas-reliefs depicting historic and legendary scenes.

Doll Valley
Accessible only by permit and a hike, you will see genuine aboriginal life, located in the hills not far from Wu Lai Village. Walk around the valley, through a gorge with a rushing river below, for brilliant scenery. There are also aboriginal song and dance shows in Doll Valley.

Taipei City Tour
You will visit Taipei's Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, then pass by the Presidential Square. Continue through the business and governmental centers of the city and pause at the National Martyr's Shrine to see the changing of the guard.

Fulung Beach
Enjoy a visit to one of the few places with a broad, white-sand beach where the waves are good enough for surfing or water skiing and interesting coral formations for snorkeling. Also visit the nearby small, pleasant and quaint town of Fulung.

Lin Family Gardens
These classical gardens, declared a historical site, were constructed in 1894 as part of the Lin family's home. You will enjoy the numerous pavilions, arches and ponds and appreciate the beauty of classical Chinese architecture.

Cheng Ching Lake (Crystal Clear Lake)
See rare varieties of fish at the Freshwater and Saltwater Aquariums, situated in large red Chinese palace-style buildings. Walk over the meandering 754 foot Nine-corner Bridge. Or climb the winding staircase to the top of seven-story-high Chunghsing Pagoda.

Taroko Gorge
As you drive this narrow ravine, you'll glimpse pavilions, pagodas or temples in the mist-clad mountainsides. Visit Swallows' Grotto, a nesting place for birds. See great views from The Tunnel of Nine Turns. Have a picnic at the Bridge of Motherly Devotion.
