Bay cruises
Savusavu Bay is a popular spot for yachts and cruise ships to stop. Bay cruises offer great views of beautiful sunsets.

Fishing trips
Deep sea fishing trips can be arranged from most resorts in the area.

Tour a walking copra plantation
Copra, or dried coconut, was the area's main business during the second half of the 19th century. Commercially the greatest value of the coconut lies in the oil, which is extracted from the dried kernels of the fruit, the copra.

Snorkel/scuba dive
Several dive shops operate from the resorts in and around Savusavu. Good diving can be found at the entrance to Savusavu Bay, and along the coast toward Tavenui Island.

The marina at Savusavu offers sailing options, and many resorts have small windsufing and sailing boats.

There is a 9 hole golf course at the Kontiki Resort, about ten minutes outside of Savusavu. Most resorts have tennis and volleyball courts available for clients to use.
