Ft. Lauderdale Travel Information

When to Go

With a year-round average of 25°C (77°F) and more than enough sunshine, Fort Lauderdale enjoys a tropical climate. Winters average a very pleasant 18°C (65°F), but look out for August with its plentiful rainfall, rising heat and occasional hurricanes, which last until late September. December to February are the best times to visit as these tend to be the months when temperatures and rainfall are low. As an added bonus, while rarely cold, nights during this period are blessedly cool.
