CDC Requirements for International Airline Passengers Arriving into the United States

The Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requires all airline passengers entering the U.S. from a foreign country on and after January 26, 2021 to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test from a licensed health care provider or public health official. See Details. In response to new testing requirements, more than 400 hotels in Mexico, Caribbean and Costa Rica now offer COVID-19 testing on property.

No COVID-19 test is required for re-entry to the Continental United States from Hawaii, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
