December through January is the best time to visit Nicaragua, when temperatures are cooler and the landscape is greener. The rainy season varies depending on the coast. Mid-April to mid-May is the driest. There really is no bad time to explore the natural wonders of this beautiful  country, whose average temperature reaches around 80 F.
