Visitors on the Argentinean side can get closest to the falls via numerous trails. Two of the most well-trod trails are the upper circuit, which leads to a viewing platform and a plethora of smaller falls along the way; and the lower circuit, whose boardwalks lead explorers up close and personal to the falls. Together, the 275 falls comprise the largest waterfall system in the world. The tallest, “Devil’s Throat,” drops more than 260 feet. This water curtain consists of 14 captivating cascades.
The best time to visit Iguazu Falls is December through February when they reach their peak. April and May are also popular times, as it is not as hot as the summer months.
