Overview

In addition to vineyards, Paso Robles is home to Michelin-star dining, olive and almond orchards, hot springs, and the California Mid-State Fair. Some of the city’s must-see sights include Sensorio, one of the state’s largest immersive art exhibitions; Estrella Warbird Museum, which exhibits military aircraft; and Franklin Hot Springs, where you can also fish and boat at the adjacent lake.

What to See

Sensorio – Walk the paths of the Paso Robles hills after sunset through more than 100,000 glowing bulbs that look like bioluminescent flowers. Sensorio features several solar-powered exhibits that blend light and music with dreamy color.

Wine Tasting – With more than 200 wineries to choose from, wine tasting is a preferred Paso Robles pastime. Some of the more popular wine-tasting destinations include the Tobin James Cellars, Eberle Winery, and Vina Robles Vineyards & Winery.

Mission San Miguel Arcangel – Travel back in time to Mission San Miguel Arcangel, the 16th California mission, which was founded in 1797. This State and National Historic Landmark boasts much of its original layout and buildings.
