The park is home to the historic Biddle House, where you will also find the Mackinac Island Native American Museum; Fort Mackinac, which was founded during the American Revolution and served as a home for soldiers and their families; Fort Holmes, a wood and earthen fort that was built by British soldiers in 1814 during the War of 1812; and Arch Rock, which stands nearly 15 stories tall and is the most iconic geological landmark on the island.
