When to Go

From snowboarding in the winter to hiking in the summer, Mammoth Lakes is the perfect destination to experience the great outdoors year-round. In the winter months, temperatures can reach to the low teens and fall all the way to the low 40s, while in the summer months you can see temperatures between 70-80 degrees and as low as 40 degrees. In the spring and fall months, expect high temperatures to be between 50-60 degrees and low temperatures to be around 30-40 degrees. Summer, although crowded, is the best time to visit.
