During the warmer, rainier months of December through February, the temperatures generally fall between 77 and 95. This season also sees short bursts of rain, lasting about 30 minutes. July is a popular time to visit the island of Tahiti, during the annual Heiva Tahiti month-long celebration of traditional Polynesian culture in Papeete.
